DEBUT EP FROM VISIBLE WORSHIP ROCKETS TO TOP 5 ON ITUNES | MAY 13, 2014
(MEMPHIS, TN) – When the members of Visible Worship left the listening party for their debut EP a week ago, they couldn’t have known what was about to happen. The feedback from their friends and peers at Visible Music College was glowing – but no amount of praise would’ve predicted this for the new band.
Visible Worship’s debut EP, released May 8, charged up the iTunes charts eventually landing at No. 5 on the Christian music chart (and No. 1 in Christian records under $8) less than 48 hours later.
Madison Line Records COO Antonio Neal says he thinks the record will continue to climb, and that this achievement represents a significant milestone for the label and the band.
“I’m happy for Visible Music College, Madison Line, the students and the band,” he says. “The greatest part to me was the synergy that happened. It felt like everyone – staff, parents, students – became part of the band. I’m just so proud of them.”
Now in its second incarnation, Visible Worship is building a foundation at Memphis’ Visible Music College, with new talented student musicians joining its ranks each year with a shared mission: making incredible music and spreading an incredible message. The 2014 iteration of the line-up includes Lance, songwriting major from Palestine, Texas, on acoustic guitar; Kyle, from Apex, N.C., on bass; Josh, from Fon du Lac, Wisc., on drums; Andrew, of Memphis, plays electric guitar and joins – last, but certainly not least – Jordan, also of Memphis, on lead vocals.
